Did you get April fooled by the weather? Well, that’s what happens here in North Carolina. It can be 70 degrees today and 37 degrees tomorrow. It’s crazy. But what are you going to do? I say laugh about it and continue to read the funny weather memes.
So, this month is full of holidays like April Fool’s Day, Good Friday, and Easter. And these holidays have their significance to everyone in their own way, but I do hope you guys went easy on the April fools jokes this year. I mean, some stuff just isn’t funny right now. There are also holidays I never knew about. Like National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day…I can totally get with that. I will never be too old to enjoy a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and not just any peanut butter. It’s got to be Jiff. For other food lovers, there is National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day. I don’t know about yours, but my kid thinks that’s awesome. There is National Sibling Day and National Hug Your Dog Day. Then we have World Autism Awareness Day. If you don’t know about autism, take the day to learn something about it. Maybe you won’t be so quick to judge someone’s kid or their parenting. You never know what someone else is going through. Be compassionate!

Pick some to celebrate, do a fun activity/craft to go along with the day, and make some food to enjoy. Most importantly, have fun! Enjoy life no matter what’s going on.
